Hit and Run Leaves Woman Injured on Moorpark

A female pedestrian was hit as she crossed Moorpark Street at Irvine Avenue Saturday evening, according to Detective Cameron of the LAPD. She was taken to hospital by LAFD ambulance.

The woman sustained injuries to her foot but appeared to be otherwise physically unharmed, Cameron told Patch. He observed what he termed a "laceration" but could not tell if the foot was broken or otherwise harmed.
