More than 3,000 posters worth nearly half a million dollars is what is alleged.

A 36-year-old Reseda man accused stealing 3,000 movie posters – worth more than $450,000 – and selling them on an online auction site was arraigned today, the District Attorney’s Office announced.
Deputy District Attorney Janet Fox of the Van Nuys Branch Office said Christian Eric Stevens (dob 11/09/75) pleaded not guilty to one count each of grand theft of personal property and receiving stolen property in case No. LA070561.
The defendant’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 9 in Department 100 of Van Nuys Superior Court.
The complaint, which includes a special allegation that the defendant took property of a value exceeding $200,000, states that Stevens stole the posters from CBS between June 3, 2011 and March 27, 2012.
If convicted as charged, Stevens faces a maximum term of five years in custody.
