After months of community input, the independent Citizenโs Redistricting Commission has finalized the new map of Los Angeles County. As a result, your community is now in the Fifth District and I am proud to serve as your Los Angeles County Supervisor!
To give you a little insight about your new representative, Iโd like to introduce myself and our district. The Fifth District is Los Angeles Countyโs largest, spanning over 2,785 square miles, including 20 cities and 83 unincorporated communities in the San Fernando, San Gabriel, Crescenta, Antelope, and Santa Clarita Valleys.

I was born and raised in the Fifth District and my family has deep roots in public service. My own career at the County began more than 30 years ago. I started as an intern and worked my way up to become Chief of Staff for former Supervisor Antonovich. I was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2016 and served as the Chair of the Board when the COVID-19 pandemic first hit our County in 2020.
My number one priority then and now is the safety and well-being of the constituents I represent, which now includes you! I work closely with other leaders on important issues that impact our lives, including addressing homelessness, increasing access to mental health services, strengthening our regional economy, and bolstering local business.

Building on my work from my time as chief policy advisor on health, mental health, social services, and childrenโs issues, I continue to advocate for services and programs to improve the quality of life for foster children, seniors, veterans, those with disabilities, and those with mental illness. Iโm committed to keeping our neighborhoods and communities safe, working with law enforcement officials and community partners to implement vital public safety initiatives.
I am also committed to the environment and have spearheaded efforts to preserve open space and enhance parks, trails, and recreational programs and facilities, as well as libraries and after-school programs. I care about keeping communities connected and have led transportation initiatives to make public transit more timely, safe, affordable, and accessible. With a strong sense of fiscal responsibility, Iโm dedicated to providing vital County services while protecting financial resources as a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars.

With all these exciting efforts underway, Iโm eager to jump in and serve you. Iโm here to connect you with the services and resources you need to live in a safe, happy, and healthy community. Click here to view a handy list of County resources.
