Multi-Car Pile Up On Southbound 101 Slows Traffic
A caller said she stopped on the freeway and caused a chain reaction collision.
STUDIO CITY, CA — A car accident on the U.S. State Route 101 South is currently slowing traffic in Studio City. The crash took place around 12:11 p.m. near the U.S. State Route 134 East interchange, according to California Highway Patrol.
The reporting caller said she stopped on the freeway and caused a chain reaction, CHP said. The pile-up was initially caused by a black GMC Yukon, and also involved a red Tesla and a big rig.
Tow trucks were sent to the scene to remove the damaged cars, and it wasn't immediately known if anyone was injured in the crash.
