Parents of Studio City Dog Attack Victim Want Justice
Los Angeles police tell Studio City parents whose 7-year-old boy received more than 40 stitches from a dog attack bite that the case is closed.

Parents of a Studio Cityย boy who was attacked by a dogย outside his homeย on Beck Avenue on Dec. 30 are angry after they were told byย the Los Angeles police that there's nothing they can do, reports CBS2.
The 7-year-old boy's mother, Kimberly Hilton, reported to Patch that the dog's owner said the Akita was friendly. However, when Hilton'sย son Jackย walked up to him, the dogย went right after the hisย neck and chest and then took a chunk of out of his arm. Jackย received more thanย 40 stitches, and Hilton said thatย even muscle had to be stitched. One of Jack'sย puncture wounds came close to collapsing his lung.ย
CBS reports that a watch commander atย theย LAPD North Hollywood Division said there's nothing they can do, even if Jack died, unless the Akita's owner ordered the attack. The case has been passed along to the East Valley Care Center.
