The president of the Studio City Neighborhood Council released the following announcement Friday.

State Redistricting Commission Approves All District Maps. The RFA accepted and approved by all sides. Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky to speak at August Board Meeting
Redistricting Commission:
I am very happy to report that the State Redistricting Commission, in a series of four votes, approved the final draft maps for the State Assembly, State Senate and Board of Equalization by a vote of 13-1 and the Congressional district by a vote of 12-2 on August 15th. This means that all of Studio City WILL remain as one district. The approved Maps are posted on the Commission website: http://www.wedrawthelines.ca/.

RFA - APPROVED:
After many months and as many closed door meetings, I am happy to announce that an ACCEPTED and APPROVED RFA has been completed. The final public presentation of this document, prior to going to PLUM will be at the SCNC August 17 Board meeting by Karo Torossian, Deputy Director of Planning and Land Use, City of Los Angeles for Councilmember Paul Krekorian, Second District. On behalf of our entire community, I would like to thank all those involved in bringing this very complicated issue to resolve - and to our Councilmember for his guidance.
