Toppled Tree at Farmdale and Landale Removed
More are likely to fall, experts say.
By Tuesday morning, the Studio City tree that blocked traffic over the Labor Day weekend was removed.
The tree fell Saturday at Farmdale Avenue and Landale Street (see photos above from residents in the area.)
The road was taped off by the Los Angeles Fire Department, and crews said that they wouldn't be able to clean up the mess until the work week ensues.

Neighbors were hearing cracking for a while before the 150-foot pine tree fell.
Three trees have fallen in the area in the past few weeks, and because of the dry weather it is possible more may fall as the heat continues.
