Two Firefighters Injured Battling Two-Story House Fire in Studio City

Two firefighters were hurt today battling a blaze that damaged a hillside house in Studio City, but their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, authorities said.

The fire in the two-story home in the 3800 block of North Buena Park Drive was reported about 1:15 p.m. and was extinguished in 37 minutes, said the Los Angeles Fire Departmentโs Katherine Main.
The cause of the blaze, which apparently began in the attic, was under investigation. It took 46 firefighters to douse the flames.

A damage estimate was not immediately available.
