Bring ART to local teens!
Volunteer at the Fairfield PAL Teen Center's Art in Action!

Fairfield PAL is recruiting volunteers to teach art through our new Art in Action program. Every student deserves art and you can help us bring it to teens in our community.
Art in Action not only provides exposure to the arts, it helps students develop self-esteem and is an outlet for creative expression. The program operates in themes and volunteer docents receive training and support directly from Art in Action!
There is a short application process (including fingerprinting and a background process administered by the Fairfield Police Department) required to volunteer at the center for anyone 18 years of age and older. All costs are paid for by the PAL program and the process generally takes about 15- 20 minutes per applicant. There is an onboarding session to explain the mandated reporter requirement, introduce the Alive & Free framework, and share tips and techniques to make your time as meaningful as possible. All costs are covered by the program and training is provided. For more information or to start the process, please call 707 249 1379.
