Car and Bicycle Collide in Vacaville Intersection

Vacaville police remain at the scene of a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist this morning.
The collision was reported at 5:01 a.m. in the area of Alamo Drive and Butcher Road, according to police.

The female bicyclist was taken to a hospital but information about her injuries was not immediately available, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stopped at the scene of the collision, according to police.

Vacaville police wrote on Twitter as of 7:20 a.m. that two lanes of northbound Alamo Drive remain closed in the area while officers investigate the crash.
