The California Highway Patrol will be conducting a Sobriety/Driver License Checkpoint in the City of Fairfield on Friday, July 26, 2013.  The Checkpoint will be conducted between 2030 hours and 0130 hours.  The media may contact the Solano CHP Office between the hours of 4-5 pm on July 26, 2013 for the exact location of the checkpoint.
Traffic volume permitting, all vehicles will be checked and drivers who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs can expect to be arrested.  Those motorists without a valid driver license can expect to receive a citation and have their vehicle impounded.
