Man, Woman Found Dead In Fairfield Home: Police

The discovery was made when officers responded to reports of two injured people inside the home.

FAIRFIELD, CA — Two people were found dead early Wednesday inside a Fairfield home.

The fatalities were discovered shortly before 12:30 a.m. when officers with the Fairfield Police Department responded to reports of two injured people at a residence in the 1400 block of Woolner Avenue.

The bodies of a man and a woman were found inside the home, both with apparent gunshot wounds.

Detectives and crime scene investigators responded and were investigating the deaths as murder-suicide.

Authorities were withholding the identities of the victims until their next of kin were properly notified.

The investigation was ongoing. Fairfield Police urged anyone with information regarding the deaths to contact Investigations at 707-428-7800 or submit an anonymous tip through Nixle by texting “TIP” plus any pertinent information to 888-777.
