Police Searching for Man Who Repeatedly Tried to Lure North Bay Girl Into Car

Police have released a description and video of a man who repeatedly tried to lure a 15-year-old North Bay girl into his car this week.

NORTH BAY, CA -- Police in Fairfield are investigating a report that a man twice tried to lure a teenage girl into his vehicle two days this week.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, a 15-year-old girl reported a man tried to lure her into his car as she walked on Beck Avenue near Cadenasso Drive.

She told police the man also tried to lure her into his car the day before.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head, and he was driving a light colored Lincoln Navigator.

The investigating officer located nearby security camera footage of the suspect vehicle as it circled the parking lot following the first incident:

During both incidents, which occurred at 7:15 a.m., the man drove up and stopped near the juvenile and asked if she wanted a ride, police said.

The victim declined both times and walked away.

Following the first incident, the man pulled into a parking lot, circled and drove by the juvenile, making her feel like she was being followed, police said.
