• First Presidency updates name of San José California Temple (deseret.com) — Sunnyvale is getting its own named Latter-day Saint temple, as church leaders have renamed the planned San José California Temple to the Sunnyvale California Temple and confirmed its site on West Fremont Avenue. The single-story, 30,000-square-foot temple and an accompanying distribution center will serve local members and contribute to the city’s growing regional religious footprint.
