2nd Annual Temecula CultureFest Returns To Old Town, Vendors Sought
In commemoration of World Day for Cultural Diversity, the city will host its CultureFest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20.
TEMECULA, CA — For the second consecutive year, Temecula CultureFest returns to Old Town and a call went out Wednesday to vendors who want to participate in the event.
In commemoration of World Day for Cultural Diversity, the city will host its CultureFest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at two Old Town Temecula city parks: Town Square Park at 41902 Main Street and Sam Hicks Monument Park, 41970 Moreno Road.
The free, community-wide special event will include live music, dancing, special performances and family activities.

A large vendor area "will showcase many different cultures and traditions encouraging everyone to explore the diversity within our own community," according to the city. "Experience different cultures through a variety of booths exhibiting foods, crafts, and education, including non-profits, school clubs, religious organizations, local businesses and delicious food vendors."
Temecula’s Community Services Department is looking for diverse vendor booths to sell international foods, cultural crafts, or event-related products, as well as booths promoting education and awareness, according to the city.

Vendors can be, but are not limited to, local restaurants or caterers, community nonprofit organizations, high school clubs, religious organizations and/or local businesses.
Vendor applications are available online at TemeculaCA.gov/FestVendor from Feb. 1 through April 14. Vendors selling items will need to show proof of insurance and their seller’s permit. There is no vendor fee required for the event but space is limited.
