Temecula's nonprofit landscape continues to grow. Here are five actively involved charities in Southwest Riverside County worthy of support.

TEMECULA, CA — Nonprofit groups are keystone community organizations in the Temecula Valley area. Fortunately, there is no shortage of organizations to volunteer or get behind financially and that need your help.

Here are five outstanding nonprofit groups you should know about in the Temecula area:

1. Assistance League of the Temecula Valley: The Assistance League of Temecula Valley is an all-volunteer-run nonprofit organization in Southwest Riverside County, according to its website. Member volunteers are dedicated to identifying and serving the needs of Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and Romoland communities through eight community-based philanthropic programs benefiting infants and adults in Southwest Riverside County. 2. Charity for Charity: This wish-fulfilling organization fundraises yearly to make a difference in the lives of those they serve. Their beneficiaries are individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses or traumatic injuries. They focus on three families a year and do their best to fulfill dreams and wishes. Cultivating Inclusion Farm: Cultivating Inclusion partners with, and is endorsed by, Care Rite Vocational and Towards Maximum Independence, daycare programs for Special Needs Adults and is funded by the state of California. 4. Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center: This charity provides free services to individuals and families that are impacted by all types of cancers. The volunteer team at Michelle's Place includes over 120 volunteers who help ensure that “No one faces cancer alone.” Learn more at: michellesplace.org.

5. Rose Again Foundation: Not everyone can foster or adopt, but everyone can help in one way or another. That is the motto of the Rose Again Foundation in Temecula. “We offer five different programs from getting children emergency placement to educating them with the ‘tutor me’ program and allowing children to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, scouts, music, arts and more.” Learn more at: roseagainfoundation.org.
