5 Nonprofits To Get Behind In Southwest Riverside County, Temecula
Here are a handful of nonprofits in Southwest Riverside County that need support, whether it's with helping hands or monetary donations.
TEMECULA, CA — Nonprofit groups are keystone community organizations in the Temecula area. Fortunately, there is no shortage of organizations to volunteer or get behind financially and that need your help.
Here are five outstanding nonprofit groups you should know about in the YOUR PATCH area:
1. Dorland Mountain Arts Colony: Dorland Mountain Arts is tucked into the foothills of Mount Palomar just east of Temecula. This is a retreat where artists, writers, musicians, and composers can create in a secluded and protected natural setting. From “coffee on the deck,” where artists of all kinds share creative ideas, to writing, painting or composing in residence, this colony survives on donations. Gifts help them maintain facilities and buildings and preserve the wilderness environment, as well as host special events. For more information on how to donate, visit dorlandartscolony.com.

This is a gentle reminder to tell everyone you know to save their uncut pumpkins and drop them off at the sanctuary! If you are at a pumpkin patch, please remind them to donate their leftovers to us and receive a tax deduction.
