The independent bookseller made a name for herself with her Volkswagen Van, lovingly named Dewey, that she'd drive to local events selling books and trinkets with her mobile store.

She has hosted book club meetups at wineries and restaurants through the fall, and now focuses on her brick-and-mortar storefront. The festive fun with the holiday pop-up shop promises to continue.

"Bookstores have always been an escape and sanctuary for me, and I’ve dreamt about having my own for a very long time," she said. "I’ve longed for a place I could take my kids to that’s not a commercial bookstore but an indie, a local spot where kids and families could gather and take their time looking through all the pages and colors and shapes of all the spines stacked in their favorite nooks and crannies."

Come and check out Spine & Vine on Friday evening, and enjoy the holiday shopping fun! Let us know if you go, and tell them Patch sent you!
