The sheriff's department conducted a sweep of those who were wanted on other criminal charges or violating their terms.
TEMECULA, CA — Nine people in Temecula with outstanding driving under the influence warrants were arrested on Wednesday, authorities said.
The subjects, who were previously arrested on DUI charges, were taken into custody again on suspicion of either failing to appear in court or violating court-ordered probation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

“We don’t want subjects re-offending and endangering the public,” Deputy Opice said in news release. “The goal is also to make sure they are receiving the help and guidance they need to keep them from offending in the future.”
The people re-arrested were not named by the department and no other information was immediately available.
