Barbie's 'Dreamhouse' Tour Rolls Into Temecula This Weekend
Though Barbie has, arguably, made women feel bad about themselves since the day she was invented, her fan base is deep.

TEMECULA, CA — On the heels of Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" movie, the impossibly beautiful doll and her house are cruising across the country in 2024 — and one of the first stops is Temecula.
On Saturday, Jan. 6, the yearlong "Barbie Truck Dreamhouse Living Tour" will kick off at Promenade Temecula mall.

Organizers are dubbing the pop-up event as "a continued celebration" of the 60th anniversary of "Barbie moving into her very first Dreamhouse" in 1962. The Temecula showing takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the mall (40820 Winchester Road) near Edwards Cinema and Red Robin.

Though Barbie has, arguably, made women feel bad about themselves since the day she was invented, her fan base is deep. According to event organizers, Barbie is iconic and the brand sells Dreamhouses by the millions.
This is not the first year Barbie hit the road. The original Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Tour kicked off in Los Angeles in 2019, followed by the Barbie Malibu Truck Tour in 2021. (The Malibu Truck Tour stopped in Temecula last year.)
The current Barbie Truck Dreamhouse Living Tour will continue to travel across the country. Following the Temecula stop, the tour will roll into Carlsbad on Jan. 13.
