Blessing Of The Vines, Easter Events Planned At South Coast Winery

South Coast Winery invites you to a local tradition, the Blessing of the Vines, for the much anticipated growing season and other events.

TEMECULA, CA — Spring is around the corner, and in Temecula Valley Wine Country, wineries are planning events to welcome the bright green bud break in the coming months.

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa will once again host its annual Blessing of the Vines returns on Sunday, April 6, a spokesperson said.

The favored event offers an afternoon of food and wine pairings, live music, and a ceremonial toast to the new growing season.

"Later in the month, guests can gather with family and friends for a memorable Easter Sunday brunch on April 20, with dining options available at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant and an elaborate buffet in the Vineyard Courtyard," they said.

South Coast Winery’s Annual Blessing of the Vines

Sunday April 6, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the Courtyard

This annual springtime tradition at South Coast Winery is a food and wine pairing festival where the Carter family, executive chef, head winemaker, and their teams give thanks for the past year’s successes while toasting to a fruitful 2025. Guests will partake in a centuries-old tradition while savoring five curated food and wine pairings, a sweet dessert pairing, and a sparkling wine toast, accompanied by live music. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the winery’s production facilities and learn about its award-winning craftsmanship as well as receive a take-home bottle of wine from one of the pairing stations.

General Admission: $99 plus tax. Ticket price includes gratuity. This is a 21 and older event. Tickets may be purchased online.

A La Carte Easter Brunch at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant

Sunday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast items available until 1 p.m.

At The Vineyard Rose Restaurant, guests can enjoy an elegant Easter brunch with a selection of dishes from the restaurant’s signature menu, complemented by seasonal specials. Among the highlights are a Seafood Omelet, featuring crab, shrimp rajas, spinach poblano mornay, mozzarella, and vineyard potatoes, as well as a Garden Quiche, prepared with legumes, asparagus, sun-dried tomato, fresh herbs, and a garden salad with sun-dried tomato dressing. The restaurant’s warm, Tuscan-inspired ambiance and vineyard views provide the perfect setting for a memorable holiday gathering.

Easter Brunch Buffet at South Coast Winery’s Courtyard

Sunday, April 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This bountiful Easter Buffet in the resort’s Courtyard will showcase an array of carefully curated dishes designed to please every palate. The meal will begin with displays of breakfast pastries, breads, cheese and charcuterie, seasonal fruit, hummus with crudités, shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, and deviled eggs. Guests can enjoy fresh salads, including a classic Caesar Salad with focaccia croutons and a Spring Greens Salad featuring citrus, pomegranate, and balsamic-roasted beets. A variety of entrées will be available, such as French Toast with assorted toppings, Eggs Benedict, and Chicken Enchiladas served with poblano, cilantro rice, smoked black beans, and salsa ranchera. Other selections include a Garden Quiche with peas, spinach, asparagus, and cheddar, Cioppino Mussels with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and herbs, and Pasta Primavera with seasonal vegetables and assorted toppings. The carving stations will offer Prime Rib with creamy horseradish and au jus, along with Cedar Plank Salmon topped with smoked lemon yogurt and salsa verde. To conclude the meal on a sweet note, guests can indulge in a variety of desserts, including cheesecakes, carrot cake, macarons, Rice Krispies treats, and chocolate pot de crème.
