Brush Fires Erupt In Southwest Riverside
Two wildfires erupted in the area Monday afternoon.

TEMECULA, CA -- Two wildfires erupted Monday afternoon in Southwest Riverside. The first blaze was reported at 3:09 p.m. near Anza and Rio Linda roads, northeast of Temecula, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
At 4:25 p.m., officials aid the Anza fire was holding at 1.9 acres.
Another fire erupted near Orange and Grove streets in Wildomar. The fire, which was estimated to be a quarter-of-an-acre was reported at 3:33 p.m. but was quickly knocked out by firefighters.

One outbuilding was destroyed in the Wildomar fire, officials said.
Orange Street between Walnut Street and Grove Street will be closed in the interim.
