We’re kicking off 2026 with an extraordinary quartet featuring Duet Paty & Leo, joined by Marcelo Bucater and Arthur De Palla for a truly unforgettable evening.

When voice and guitar meet with deep chemistry and shared purpose, something magical happens—and Paty & Leo embody that magic. Their musical connection began in their teens in Brazil: Paty, a gifted vocalist already earning international recognition, and Leo, a young guitarist performing alongside top Brazilian artists.

Years later, after journeys that took them across the globe—Paty earning a Latin Grammy nomination and Leo completing a Master’s in Guitar Performance while touring Europe with the Utah State Jazz Orchestra—they reunited to form Duet Paty & Leo, blending the elegance of jazz with the warmth and soul of Brazilian music.

For this special night at The Merc, the duo expands into a quartet with two remarkable musicians:

• Marcelo Bucater (drums) – Drum Department Chair at the Los Angeles College of Music, known for collaborations with Marcos Valle, Céu, and Arthur Verocai.
• Arthur de Palla (bass) – An acclaimed bassist who has shared the stage with Djavan, Carlinhos Brown, and Ivete Sangalo.
