Fire officials said more than 100 firefighters were called to battle the 50-acre blaze.

ANZA, CA -- A fire erupted Wednesday afternoon in southern Riverside County. The fire was reported at 2:20 p.m. on Benton Road and Crams Corner Drive in Anza, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said more than 100 firefighters were called to battle the 50-acre blaze.
By 5 p.m., forward progress of the fire was contained.
