Anza Crash Victim Freed From Wreckage, Suffers Serious Injuries

ANZA, CA — A crash in Anza left one person trapped in a vehicle with serious injuries, authorities said.

The crash was reported around 9 p.m. Saturday in the 59000 block of Burnt Valley Road, where firefighters found a vehicle off the roadway with one person trapped inside, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters extricated and rushed the person to a hospital by helicopter.

It was unclear if the rescued person was a man or woman.
