'Got Junk?' Temecula's Free Citywide Cleanup Is Coming Up

Residents can dispose of large bulky items, green waste, motor oil and more items at no cost.

TEMECULA, CA — Do you have old junk lying around your home? Dispose of it on Oct. 11 in Temecula for free.

Residents must show proof of Temecula residency to take advantage of the next Citywide Cleanup, which has been moved to a new location on Diaz Road at Dendy Parkway, city officials said this week.

During the event, Diaz Road will be closed to thru traffic between Remington Avenue and Dendy Parkway, the city said.

Here are the items that will be accepted:

  • Anti-Freeze
  • Motor Oil
  • Auto Batteries (2 per resident per visit)
  • E-Waste (Household Electronics)
  • Large Bulky Items
  • Green Waste
  • Small (Empty) Gas Operated Equipment
