Graffiti Vandalism Across Temecula Leads To Arrest

TEMECULA, CA — A suspected graffiti vandal who allegedly defaced several properties in Temecula was behind bars Tuesday night.

Declan Quinn Ryan, 18, of Temecula was arrested by sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon following a search warrant service at his home, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.

On June 11, deputies began investigating multiple reports of graffiti vandalism at numerous locations along Temecula Parkway and Patricia Birdsall Park in Temecula.

In one vandalism incident shared across social media, a brewery located in the 32100 block of Temecula Parkway was tagged with an expletive about ICE.

But it was an "additional act of vandalism" reported Monday in the 32400 block of Temecula Parkway that led investigators to Ryan, according to the sheriff's department.

Jail records show Ryan was arrested on Ambara Court in Temecula. He was booked into Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of vandalism and a civil rights violation. He's being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
