'Grigg' Fire Chars 8 Acres In Winchester Area
Crews battled the blaze on Friday afternoon, which was moving with a moderate rate of spread, Cal Fire said.

WINCHESTER, CA — Firefighters stopped a wildfire that burned more than eight acres in the French Valley area near Diamond Valley Lake that ignited Friday afternoon, officials said.
Shortly after it broke out around 1:30 along the 34,000 block of Grigg Road, just south of Diamond Valley Lake, in Winchester, the blaze charred two to three acres and was moving at a moderate rate of spread, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Jasmine Wood told Patch.
The agency said that multiple engine and hand crews were sent to the area, where flames damaged an outbuilding.
