Heavy Police Activity In Temecula Neighborhood Prompted By Fight
Sheriff's officials say the scene was in response to a fight.

TEMECULA, CA — A large police presence was spotted in a Temecula neighborhood Wednesday evening and police tell Patch they are at the scene after a fight was reported in the area. One person has been hospitalized with injuries described as "non-life-threatening."
Details are limited at this time, but police say they were first called to an area near the Temecula Recreation Center around 4:45 p.m. That's in the area of Rancho Vista and Margarita roads.
One witness writes on Temecula Patch that she spotted a road blocked off in the area.

Sheriff's Dep. Robyn Flores says the incident is being investigated as a "mutual fight" between at least two people. The person hospitalized is an adult male, she said. Another person was detained.
