Horseback Rider Hospitalized In Temecula Valley Accident

The weekend incident was reported near an area where several equestrian facilities are located.

TEMECULA, CA — A person who fell from a horse in the Temecula area was injured and rushed to a hospital over the weekend, the Riverside County Fire Department reports.

The fall was reported at 9:11 a.m. in the 38000 block of Corralitos Road, an area where several equestrian facilities are located, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire officials sent two engines to the scene and the injured rider was ultimately taken to a hospital with "traumatic injuries," the department said.
