I-15 Crash Near Temecula: Semi-Truck, 2 Cars Collide At Rainbow Scales
Northbound traffic into Temecula was stalled Monday due to the three-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck near the scales.
TEMECULA, CA — A three-vehicle crash stalled northbound I-15 traffic into Temecula at the Rainbow commercial scales, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At 1 p.m., a tractor-trailer and two sedans collided near the scales, just south of Temecula, according to CHP dispatch.
The white Volvo, a red semi-truck, and a silver Chevrolet Spark were all moved to the freeway's right shoulder, according to the CHP.

Cal Fire/San Diego Firefighters arrived at the scene and closed the slow lane as they rendered aid for any injuries. At least two children were in one of the vehicles, dispatch operators said.
The cause of the crash and the extent of any injuries were not immediately released.
