Linfield Christian School Plans For Traditional Graduation
While attendees will be limited to three per student, a screen will be provided so other supporters can join the fun drive-in movie-style.
TEMECULA, CA — While most California schools have pivoted to virtual or drive-thru graduation ceremonies, Linfield Christian School in Temecula is keeping it traditional this year with an outdoor, socially distant ceremony.
This Saturday, the school will put its football field to use to host the graduation ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Graduates will walk across a stage to have their tassels turned and will sit spread apart on the field.
Likewise, parents in attendance will maintain social distance while in the bleachers.

Each student will be given three tickets for immediate friends and family members, and anyone else hoping to spectate will be provided a large LED screen in the gym parking lot livestreaming the ceremony. Parking lot viewers are encouraged to decorate their cars and join in on the fun.
It's unclear if attendees or students will be required to wear masks or partake in any other health and safety practices. A Linfield Christian School spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
