Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Sex Trafficking Girl From Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — A 20-year-old Wilmington man accused of trafficking a 15-year-old girl for sexual purposes from Temecula to Los Angeles County has been arrested, authorities reported Saturday.

Deputies with the Riverside County Southwest Sheriff's Station responded on November 23 to a report of a female juvenile missing from her Temecula residence, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

During the investigation, officials with the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force were contacted by deputies, and assumed the investigation.

The girl was found safely three days later in Long Beach, and treated at a hospital, where a "victim advocate was present to provide support."

"It was learned the juvenile had been the victim of sexual assault and child sex trafficking," the department said in a statement.

On Friday, officials with the Riverside County Sheriff's Major Crimes Unit, K-9 Unit and the county's Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Robidoux Street, in Wilmington, in Los Angeles County, where Nestor Alexis Aguirre-Chavez was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant was served at the residence, the department stated.

Aguirre-Chavez was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside County on suspicion of commercial sex trafficking of a minor under duress, pimping, pandering and transporting a minor under the age of 16 for the purpose of a lewd act and arranging to meet a minor for the purpose of a lewd act, according to the sheriff's department.

Aguirre-Chavez was being held on $1,000,000 bail.
