Man With Gun Arrested Near Temecula Valley High, Police Report
Police say they arrested the man on Thursday.
TEMECULA, CA — Temecula police reported Thursday the arrest of a man who was accused of being spotted with a gun in town.
Details are limited at this time, but Temecula police said on Facebook that the man was taken into custody near Temecula Valley High School. They shared images of the handgun.
"There was some excitement today near TVHS," the agency said. "Your Temecula Sheriff’s Station received a call of persons pointing a gun at another citizen. #NotTheHolidaySpirit. Our deputies arrived and located the vehicle along with the firearm. Arrests were made and a #GunWasTakenOffTheStreet."
