Motorcyclist Crashes Over I-15 Center Divider In Temecula: CHP

TEMECULA, CA — One person has been hospitalized in a wreck in Temecula on Thursday morning involving a truck and a motorcycle, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash happened around 7:25 a.m. along the southbound side of Interstate 15 near Temecula Parkway/SR-79, according to preliminary CHP logs. Reports indicate a motorcyclist collided with a truck and slammed into the center divider of the freeway, before flying over the wall and landing on the northbound side of the freeway.

The Riverside County Fire Department tells Patch that one person was rushed to the hospital from the scene. However, the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Traffic reports indicated major delays on the southbound side of I-15 following the crash.
