TEMECULA, CA — Father's Day is almost here, and Patch is celebrating with fun photos of California dads and their kids!

Temecula Patch reader Marissa Mason sent in this adorable collage of photos of her daughter, 7-year-old Kadynce, and Kadynce's daddy, Shane. She included the following tribute:

"I grew up with a dad who would do just about anything to make me happy and smile. I wasn't sure anyone would ever be able to live up to him. That is, until I saw Shane with Kadynce.

He is such a wonderful dad and they completely light up around each other. There's nothing he won't do to make her smile. Including... letting her put clips in his hair, use his shoulder as a foot rest in the car, singing Hakuna Matata with her at the top of their lungs, wearing shirts she makes for him, and so much more.

This tiny little girl makes him into such a teddy bear.

Here are some pictures of them enjoying beautiful Southern California: Parade in Temecula, photo op, daddy daughter dance for school, Dejongs haunted dairy, Victoria Gardens tree lighting ceremony, LA county fair, a shirt she made him for Father's Day, Boots in the park concert at Silver Lakes (She got pulled up on stage with Billy Currington and got to sing with him.), and Palm Springs.

They sure do love enjoying everything our area has to offer."

Happy Father's Day, Shane!
