Rattlesnake Bites Woman Near Temecula

Fire officials say the woman was rushed to to the hospital.

TEMECULA, CA — A woman was hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon after being bit by a rattlesnake near Temecula, the Riverside County Fire Department reports. The venomous reptile attacked the woman around 4:45 p.m.

The incident occurred near the 46300 block of El Prado Road in an unincorporated part of Riverside County in the De Luz area, according to fire officials.

The woman's injuries were described as moderate.
