RivCo Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Temecula Child Arrested
The 45-year-old man, who worked as a painter for homeowners was detained by the family of a child he reportedly molested and took photos of.

TEMECULA, CA — A Riverside man was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting and taking obscene photos of a child in Temecula over the weekend, authorities said.
At 4:24 p.m. on Nov. 9, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said they arrived to the 32000 block of Torenia Court, where the child's family members had detained the victim themselves.
The department said that Jose Rogelio Hernandez-Gallegos, 45, worked in the area as a painter for homeowners. While working at this particular home, police said Hernandez-Gallegos had photographed and sexually abused the child who lived there.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for lewd acts with a minor, annoying and molesting a minor, and possession of obscene matter. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
The Riverside Sheriff's Southwest Station believes there could be more victims. Anyone with information was urged to call Dawn Oxley at 951-696-3000.
