Riverside County Baby Nearly Drowns In Bucket Of Water
Fire officials said the baby apparently fell into a bucket of water that was being used for cleaning.

RIVERSIDE, CA -- A Riverside County baby is in critical condition Tuesday after nearly drowning in a bucket of water that was used for cleaning. Fire officials said they responded to a report of a drowning victim around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of Sierra Tree Lane in the city of Riverside.
Four firefighters who were called to the scene found a 7-month-old boy on the ground while his father was performing CPR on him. The baby was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition, officials said.
An investigation showed the baby had apparently fallen in a bucket of water, but it's unclear how long he was inside the water, officials said.
