Riverside County To Hold 2024 State Of The County Address In Temecula

TEMECULA, CA — Want to learn more about the opportunities and projects impacting residents in Riverside County? Attend the State of the County address Thursday at the Pechenga Resort Casino in Temecula.

Up to 700 residents and stakeholders are expected to file into the resort at 7 a.m. on Thursday, officials said. Attendees will be served breakfast, watch a video presentation, and hear speeches from Riverside County leaders. The event will also be livestreamed for residents to watch virtually.

"Every year, Riverside County invests in more opportunities, enhanced infrastructure and greater quality of life,” said Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, vice chair of the county's Board of Supervisors. “We continue to invest in these ways, because doing so brings the promise of a better future – one where we can all thrive.”

The county's Board of Supervisors and the County Executive Officer will lead the address, which will cover the county's opportunities and status as a melting pot for residents, travelers and businesses.

"Riverside County is dedicated to inclusivity and ensuring that all residents are informed about the impactful efforts underway across our communities,” said Third District Supervisor and Board Chair Chuck Washington. “This event is intentionally designed to be accessible to all, inviting everyone to engage in our shared vision for the future.”

Breakfast tickets are sold out, but residents can still attend the address in person for free. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the presentation will start after 7:30 a.m.
