Santa's Electric Light Parade: Road Closures, Parking Info: 2024
Thousands will head to Old Town Friday for Santa's Electric Light Parade. Here's everything you need to know when you go.

TEMECULA, CA — The City of Temecula Santa's Electric Light Parade heads back to Old Town on Friday evening. With thousands attending, the city shared information on where to go, park, and how to make yourself comfortable for the festive night.
The parade begins at 7 p.m. at Jefferson Avenue and Del Rio Road and extends through Old Town Temecula.
"Bring your blankets and chairs as you watch the entries travel south along the parade route into Old Town," they say.

The Electric Light Parade is a feast for the senses, with local groups from car clubs to schools and churches all participating in the hours-long event.

Road Closure Information
Road closures for December 5th and 6th include:
- Main Street from bottom of ‘Y’ to Old Town Front Street closed from 7 a.m. on Dec 5th thru Dec 6th at midnight
Road closures for December 6th to include:
- Main Street West closed from 8 a.m.-midnight
- Jefferson closed heading south at Overland from 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Parade traffic only.
- Del Rio, Las Haciendas, and Calle Cortez closed 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
- Jefferson Ave: Via Montezuma to Rancho California southbound only closed from 2 p.m.-10 p.m.
- Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, & Sixth from Mercedes to Murrieta Creek closed 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
- Old Town Front Street from Rancho California Road to Santiago closed from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
- Jefferson Ave northbound from Rancho California closed from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m.
- Old Town Front from Santiago to 19th Hole Golf Carts on OTFS closed from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
- Rancho California Road: Old Town Front to Diaz Road closed 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- First Street/Santiago Road closed between Pujol and C Street from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
