Small Brush Fire Breaks Out In Temecula's Wolf Valley
The blaze was first reported at 5:13 p.m. Monday in the 31000 block of Samantha Lane.

TEMECULA, CA — A small non-injury brush fire that broke out Monday in Temecula's Wolf Valley has burned 4 acres, a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson said Monday evening.
Dubbed the Samantha Fire, the blaze was first reported at 5:13 p.m. in the 31000 block of Samantha Lane, near Temecula Creek.
There were no evacuations, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Tawny Castro.

Crews were expected to remain on scene for about four hours, Castro said.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Several other fires were burning in the area, including the Rosa Fire, east of Temecula, in Mountain Center. The blaze has forced evacuations and a highway closure. See the latest here.
