Small Earthquake Shakes Riverside County

The 3.3-magnitude quake hit Sunday morning.

An earthquake with an estimated 3.3 magnitude struck on the Riverside-San Bernardino line northeast of Riverside Sunday morning.

The quake was felt at 6:26 a.m. in Riverside, Temecula and Hemet, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Automated seismographs and computers estimated the epicenter to be about 11 miles beneath the earth’s surface, but the raw data has not been reviewed by scientists.
