Structure Fire in Aguanga Spreads to Brush, Extinguished

TEMECULA, CA — Flames from a structure fire in the unincorporated Aguanga area near Temecula spread to nearby brush and burned for about 40 minutes Friday evening before being extinguished by firefighters.

Crews responded at 9:17 p.m. to the 43000 block of state Route 79, near Woodridge Lane, and encountered a large structure well involved with fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The flames spread to nearby vegetation before the fire was extinguished at 9:58 p.m., the department said.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
