Summer Campers at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula Donate More Than 100 Items to Local Families in Need

Campers donated clothes food, toys, and more to help families supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities

Summer campers at Discovery Isle Preschool in Temecula recently held a donation drive to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California, which provides comfort and support to families with hospitalized children. Together, campers and their families collected more than 100 items, including clothes, food, games, toys and more for families being supported by the charitable organization.

Discovery Isle Preschool instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
