Suspect in Home Burglary Arrested; Second Suspect Still At Large

A 37-year-old Corona man was arrested after a home on Jedediah Street was burglarized. A female accomplice has not been apprehended.

Temecula Police arrested one suspect in a residential burglary Friday afternoon and are searching for a second suspect, according to Sgt. Joseph Greco.

Officers responded to a home in the 30000 block of Jedediah Smith Road just after 4 p.m. and found that it had been burglarized and a white Chevy van had been stolen, according to Greco. Officers spotted the van in the neighborhood and followed it to the 31000 block of Pescado Drive, where the driver bailed and attempted to flee on foot.

Officers searched the area and arrested the suspect, 37-year-old David Michael Sare of Corona. Sare was out on bail for a previous burglary charge, according to Greco. A female suspect was not in the van and police have released a photo of her taken in a Temecula sandwich shop earlier on Friday.
