On Saturday, the team obtained a search warrant for the missing vehicle and the motel room. Upon arrival, they noted the stolen vehicle was in plain sight at the motel parking lot.

"RBST members, along with members of the Southwest Sheriff's Station's Special Enforcement Team and Investigations Bureau, later identified the suspects as Ortiz and Warner, who were both seen exiting the motel room and were detained by deputies," Sgt. Chris Mattson said in a recent news release.

Officers served the warrant on the vehicle and the motel room. "The majority of the victim's stolen property was recovered," Mattson said.

Ortiz was arrested and was held on $10,000 bail at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Center on suspicion of commercial burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, identity theft, fraudulent use of credit card information and possession of a controlled substance.

Warner was being held on $10,000 at the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of commercial burglary. Both will answer charges Wednesday morning at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta.
