LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Law enforcement on Tuesday was continuing to search for a missing girl who was last seen in Lake Elsinore.
An Ebony Alert is in effect for Brooklyn Spencer, 17, who was last seen at approximately 4:23 p.m. Monday at Village Way and Diamond Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Brooklyn is Black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black-and-brown strapless dress. Authorities say Brooklyn is believed to be traveling on foot.

A photo of Brooklyn was not released. Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
The CHP issued the Ebony Alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The alerts are issued to help locate missing Black children, teenagers, and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired, or abducted.
