Temecula Closes Athletic Fields Amid Winter Rainstorm: What To Know

Temecula non-artificial turf fields and school district fields are closed until further notice.

TEMECULA, CA —A full day of rain, with heavy rains to follow Thursday, has prompted the closure of all Temecula city parks and school district fields, according to a city of Temecula announcement.

All grass fields, with the exception of the Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park and the Sommer's Bend artificial turf soccer fields, are closed due to wet conditions, the city stated in the announcement.
