Temecula, Community Mission of Hope Hosting Weeklong Food Drive

The food drive that begins Jan. 15 is being held in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. "Day of Service."

The following is a Jan. 3, 2024, news release from the city of Temecula:

TEMECULA, CA – In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, the City of Temecula is partnering with Community Mission of Hope (CMOH) for a weeklong food drive running from MON, JAN 15, 2024, through SUN, JAN 21, 2024.

The Welcome Center (28690 Mercedes St., Suite 101) will serve as the official collection point. In addition to accepting food donations, the Welcome Center will also have information where residents can learn about different ways to get involved with the community whether it be with the City of Temecula or other local non-profit organizations.

Welcome Center Hours of Collection
MON, JAN 15 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
TUE, JAN 16 – FRI, JAN 19 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
SAT, JAN 20 – SUN, JAN 21 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
